Martin is the CEO of Mosaic Networks. He created the company’s first products, Babble and EVM-Lite. Now he is set on gathering an exceptional community of like-minded partners around the project to help make Mosaic an active player in shaping the Internet of tomorrow. He holds degrees in applied Mathematics from Université Paris Dauphine and University of Chicago.
GIACOMO PURI PURINI
Giacomo is the co-founder and CFO of Mosaic Networks. He previously co-founded a Bitcoin Startup for decentralized payments and loans based in New York in 2012. He later co-founded and sold a Modular Shoe Company based in the UK and currently focusing its development in China. Giacomo gained investment experience working closely with VC funds in the Cambridge, MA area. He holds a M.A. in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University.
Kevin is a Software Developer at Mosaic Networks. He has spent the last two years working as a Software Developer at a Blockchain startup in London. Prior to this he worked for six years on Radar Signal Processing. Kevin is keen to realise the potential of Blockchain Technology to transform many aspects of our daily lives. He holds a degree in Engineering from the University of Oxford.

Ronan is pioneer in developing Bitcoin technology having co founded the open source Haskoin project in 2013. He has also led pioneering work on the use of distributed ledger within financial markets, previously as project lead for the Utility Settlement Coin consortium of commercial banks, and project lead for OTC derivatives FX clearing use cases with Clearmatics and Opengamma. He has also run several high volume operationally complex trading desks for Scotia Capital and National Bank Financial. He is a partner at Blocksmiths and holds a 1st class BA degree in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics from Trinity College Dublin (2004).
Jon is a full stack analyst developer with over 20 years of experience of the full SDLC, including analysis, design, development, delivery and maintenance with both internal and external stakeholders. He has spent the past 4 years developing a “teaching English as a foreign language” app for the Cambridge University Development Trust, a project that was funded by the Malaysian government. He holds a B.A. from University of Cambridge and a M.A. in Computer Science.
MARK STUDART DAY
Mark Stuart Day is a Visiting Lecturer at MIT and author of the book Bits to Bitcoin: How Our Digital Stuff Works (MIT Press, 2018). He was Chief Scientist at Riverbed Technology for a decade including their IPO. During that period Riverbed’s revenue grew from less than $ 1m to more than $ 1B. Earlier, he was Senior Scientist at SightPath when they were bought by Cisco for $800m. He holds more than thirty patents covering a variety of inventions in distributed systems, telephony, and security. He received his Ph.D. from MIT in 1995.
Abdi Hersi is founder of Vidette. He has a background in development economics. Abdi has worked primarily in asset management and private equity. He has managed teams all over the world and has delivered technical solutions primarily in emerging and frontier markets. Abdi is also a specialist in the entire Hedge Fund IT Infrastructure and development function including front and middle office technologies, operations, full site redundancy & Disaster Recovery with a background in high growth & start-up companies.
Mauro Martino is the founder and manager of the “Visual Artificial Intelligence Lab” at IBM Research AI, with offices in Cambridge, MA, and Professor of Practice at Northeastern University in Boston. Mauro was formerly an Assistant Research Professor at Northeastern University working with Albert-Laszlo Barabasi at Center for Complex Network Research and with David Lazer and Fellows at The Institute for Quantitative Social Science (IQSS) at Harvard University. He was a research affiliate with the SENSEable City Lab at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge.
